Terms of Service

Last updated July 14, 2026

Fledgerly is a personal finance tracker provided free of charge by Oddology LLC(“we”). By using it, you agree to these terms.

1. It is not financial advice

Fledgerly presents your own data back to you and makes estimates: take-home pay, cash-flow forecasts, spending categories. Those estimates can be wrong. Categorization and statement parsing are automated. Do not make a decision that matters on the strength of a number in Fledgerly without checking it against your bank or your accountant. Your bank’s statement is the source of truth, always. Fledgerly is not.

2. Free, and provided as is

Fledgerly costs nothing. You may pay SimpleFIN directly for bank connectivity; we receive none of that. Because the service is free, it is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise it will be available, correct, or uninterrupted.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Oddology LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or financial decisions you made using Fledgerly. Our total liability for any claim relating to Fledgerly will not exceed one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

4. Your account

  • Sign-in is Google only. Keep your Google account secure; anyone with it has your Fledgerly.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you upload and enter.
  • One person, one account. Do not share logins.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: upload data that is not yours or that you lack the right to upload; attempt to access another user’s data; probe, scan, or attack the service; automate abusive volumes of uploads or parsing; or use Fledgerly to break the law. We enforce per-account rate limits and a monthly cap on AI-assisted document parsing to keep the service affordable and available.

6. Third parties

SimpleFIN Bridge provides bank connectivity under its own terms; that relationship is your own. Anthropic (Claude) parses document layouts we have not seen before, and only when you approve it. Their outages are not our breaches.

7. Your data

You own your data. You can export it or delete it at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed.

8. Termination

You can stop using Fledgerly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or discontinue the service, with notice where we reasonably can. If we shut Fledgerly down, we will give you advance notice and time to export your data.

9. Changes

We will post material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Fledgerly after that means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the State of Illinois, United States.
